Excavating under the desert sun
A huge skeleton lies left of the grid, with loose bones around sandy ledges leading towards palms and a tent. Smokey wears a light expedition hat with round goggles, a turquoise scarf and a backpack. The backdrop resembles a cartoon adventure dig, full of sand, oversized fossils and camping equipment.
The same theme runs through the symbols. Lanterns, goggles, pith helmets and books bearing a fossil skull rest on cracked tiles. Removing a layer changes those positions. The excavation is visible: the surface gives way to another depth, and the third level opens the cash feature.
Equipment, explosives and finds
- Lanterns, goggles and helmets
- Regular paying pictures on the first two layers. Their awards depend on cluster size and appear in the game’s paytable.
- Fossil-skull books
- Another visible group of regular symbols. They form cluster combinations rather than collecting Coins themselves.
- Letters and ten
- Lower paying symbols on the upper layers. A win removes all regular symbols of the winning type, including those outside its cluster.
- Wild Dynamite
- A special dynamite bundle. When a thrown charge hits it, it clears a 3 × 3 area and can trigger another bundle.
- Golden Reveals Coins
- Bronze reveals 1×–4× the stake, Silver 5×–10×, and Gold 20×, 30×, 40× or 50×. Diamond Coins give 100×, 150×, 250× or 500×.
- Green and Gold Clovers
- Green multiplies neighbouring Coins and existing Collectors; Gold covers the grid. Possible multipliers are 2×, 3×, 4×, 5×, 10× and 20×.
- Collector
- Collects Coin values and already activated Collectors. An earlier Collector can therefore become part of a later collection.
- FS
- Three, four or five open different bonuses. Thrown dynamite and Wild Dynamite explosions cannot destroy them.
From stone to Golden Reveals
The grid has three layers. The first two hold regular paying symbols, Wild Dynamite and FS. A cluster win pays, removes all regular symbols of the winning type and takes away one layer beneath them. New depth appears and the gaps fill. Further wins continue the excavation.
Once the grid settles, Smokey may throw dynamite. A thrown charge affects a 2 × 2 area, removing symbols and one layer behind them. Hitting Wild Dynamite expands the blast to a 3 × 3 square around the bundle. Another bundle inside that area can explode in turn, creating a chain reaction.
Two charges hitting the same position do not remove two layers at once: that overlap removes only one. FS and positions already at Layer 3 are protected from explosions. A wide blast therefore does not automatically reveal the entire bottom level.
Positions reaching the third layer enter Golden Reveals after regular wins and dynamite finish. Coins, Clovers and Collectors reveal there. Cash values come first, Clovers increase them and Collectors combine totals. At this stage the special finds matter, rather than the size of a regular cluster.
How the feature works
Wins remove a layer
A winning cluster pays and removes one layer beneath the winning symbols. New symbols fill the spaces, allowing further wins to dig deeper.
Dynamite opens more positions
Smokey may throw dynamite after the grid settles. Wild Dynamite can set off a wider chain reaction; overlapping blasts still remove only one layer at a shared position.
The third layer reveals cash symbols
After wins and explosions finish, positions that reached the third layer enter Golden Reveals. Coins reveal values, clovers multiply them and Collectors gather the totals.

Three ways to continue digging
Every bonus begins with ten free spins but changes the extra feature. Tomb Service and Dig It offer the choice to gamble or start the round. Gamble is optional and does not guarantee an upgrade.
Tomb Service
3 FS
10 free spins with a Dynamite Collector that activates at the end of the bonus. Gamble is offered as an alternative before play.
Dig It
4 FS
10 free spins and a Blast Bar. Filling the bar upgrades the minimum Coin type on reveals. There is also a pre-round Gamble choice.
Gold Digger
5 FS
10 free spins. Smokey throws five sticks of dynamite on every spin, continuing to remove layers from the grid.

Game questions
Can dynamite destroy a useful FS?
No. FS are protected from both thrown dynamite and Wild Dynamite explosions. Layer 3 is also unaffected by those blasts.
How does a thrown charge differ from Wild Dynamite?
The thrown charge clears a 2 × 2 area. Hitting Wild Dynamite makes the bundle clear 3 × 3 around itself and possibly trigger another bundle.
Do two explosions on one position immediately reach Layer 3?
No. Two overlapping charges remove only one layer from that position. Further progress depends on subsequent events on the grid.
What exactly does the Blast Bar upgrade?
Once filled, it raises the minimum Coin type available on reveals. This changes the cash-symbol set rather than multiplying every ordinary win.
Why have three bonuses if each gives ten spins?
Their extra tools differ: a final Dynamite Collector, Coin upgrades through the Blast Bar, or five guaranteed dynamite throws on every free spin.
